JazaakAllah Khairan... Dear brother, Yes, as Muslims we submit to Allah in entirety and strive to please Him every moment of our lives. And we, with all sincerity, also strive to perfect our deeds and reach the state of a Muhsin (by practising Ihsan towards worship in Allah, towards the people and towards our ownselves). However, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) clearly reminded us, that it is not our deeds that take us to Jannah nor save us from Jahannam (Hell Fire). Indeed, it is the Mercy of Allah Alone, be it even the Prophet himself, which grants us success in this life and the Hereafter. <strong>Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, <em>"The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the (Hell) Fire)." They said, "Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah's Apostle?"
